CHRISTIAN UNION

Hiya! I'm Matthew, a second year medic at Brasenose, and the Christian Union Rep for Brasenose and Lincoln. If you are interested in coming along to a Bible study, or are just interested in Christianity and fancy a chat, me and the others at our CU would love to meet you!

 

We hold weekly Bible studies every Thursday evening (5:45-7pm), normally in the Brasenose chaplain’s room (Heb 1), and everyone is welcome! In these meetings, we try to strike a good balance between having a good catch-up (aka a yap), and getting stuck into God’s word, taking time to read the Bible and pray together. CU is a fantastic opportunity to escape the busyness of uni life and have really interesting conversations, exploring faith or deepening your faith, while also making new friends!

 

In addition to our weekly meetings, we organise other outreach events for people to ask any and all questions they may have about faith, and would love ideas of new ways in which to do this in as welcoming a way as possible!
