Hi!

 

We're Beth (Second year, Biochemistry) and Hannah (Second year, History). We're your Somerville reps for this year (2023-2024) and we would love to welcome you to our CU!  

 

 

The Somerville CU is a friendly inclusive community where we aim to build fellowship between believers and offer everyone in college an opportunity to come and explore what it means to be a follower of Jesus in a relaxed and open environment.

 

 

During term time we meet for a meal every week before a Bible study or going to the central OICCU meeting together. We also run a weekly prayer meeting on a Sunday to catch up and pray for each other and the week ahead. We also run a range of outreach events to share our faith with the wider college community. These involve events such as ‘message-a-muffin’, worship nights, and a whole range of other events to serve those around us.  

 

Our events are all open to those from any faith background or none, and we’re always happy to answer any questions you may have about churches in Oxford, CU or anything else. No question is too big or too small!
