CHRISTIAN UNION

Hi, we’re Mowon (Medicine) and Caleb (German and Linguistics) and we have the pleasure of being the St. John’s CU Reps for this year!

 

Our community is open to everyone – whether you’re a Christian or just wanting to ask questions about the faith. Members of our college CU meet every Saturday in Kendrew Café at 11:00am and eat brunch together before reading Bible verses, discussing them and finishing by praying together. Every two weeks, we also hold a Prayer Supper where we get together to pray while sharing food. As our CU is part of OICCU, we also take part in many intercollegiate events throughout the week from Cafe360, The Search, Focus, and many more. We encourage you to find events that are best suited for you and we wouldn’t mind pointing you in the right direction if you’re not sure.

 

Everybody in the St. John’s CU is friendly, understanding, and supportive and we’ve both made many friends through it – providing each other with encouragement to worship God, encourage others, while also just being there when you have essay and problem sheet crises.

 

Wherever you are in your faith, we’d love to meet you all so hopefully we’ll CU at the next event!
